Valentine's day is a day that's origin is clouded in mystery. Many accounts have been suggested to have been the start of Valentine's, but one cannot say for sure. There is an account of a priest named St. Valentine who would wed couples secretly in times of war. Others speculate a different priest also named Valentine who was imprisoned by his emperor. This priest apparently befriended his jailor's daughter and even cured her blindness. Whatever the real inspiration for valentine's day may be, we cannot say for sure right now.
