New Trader’s Lucky Mart was founded by Erwin Kho in 2003. It was an old warehouse of his father that he gave to him. He established a grocery store using the warehouse. It opened on October 30, 2003. The business was running its course in its early years until a tragic event took place. On December 4, 2004, it was burned by robbers as they failed to accomplish their objective.

RE-OPENING

The store was rebuilt and it reopened on April 10, 2005. The store was located only in Pinili Street, Dumaguete City until 2014. On May 10, 2014, the grocery store extended to Santa Rosa Sreet, Dumaguete City. The establishment currently consists of two main entrances, one on Pinili Street as well as on Santa Rosa Street.

EXTENSION OPENING

This is a Research Capstone Project for Holy Cross High School senior high students for the school year 2022-2023 under supervision of Engr. Sami Khayat, Ph.D
